What we do
Velares is a personal concierge service for Switzerland. Dining and tables, hotels and chalets, transport, nightlife, private moments, group plans. One contact across the things that usually need five.
We do not run a directory. We do not publish ratings. Every collaborator we send a guest to has been visited in person. We know the people behind the places. When you walk in, they already know you are coming.

Who we work for
The people we look after share one thing in common. They value their time more than they value the search.
They are travellers who could spend Saturday morning comparing menus and would rather not. They are residents who want a quiet table on Tuesday and a chalet for ten on the weekend. They are family offices and corporate teams who need things to land without rehearsal.
What they share is not budget. It is a preference for the right thing over the impressive thing. For a quiet welcome over a roped-off entrance. For a recommendation that fits them, not the loudest place on Instagram.

How we work
Every request starts with one message. You tell us what you need, the occasion, who is coming, anything that matters. We listen, we ask the right questions, and we come back with options that actually fit, not a list pasted from somewhere else.
We work per request, not per month. No membership. No annual commitment. You use Velares when you need it. CHF 90 covers one request. CHF 200 covers a bundle of three, valid for thirty days.
Once you confirm, we coordinate everything behind the scenes. The venue knows your name. Your driver is briefed. Your reservation feels handled because it is.
If something changes last minute, we handle that too. If you ask for something outside our usual network, we research it and come back with an answer. We do not say no easily, and we do not pretend to know what we do not.

Where we come from
Velares was built on eight years in hospitality between Barcelona and Switzerland. We started in Barcelona because that is where we learned the craft. We moved into Switzerland because the country has the rooms, the tables, and the landscape, but very few people willing to coordinate it the way we wanted to.
We are based in Zillis, Graubünden. The team is small by choice. Every request is read by someone who actually knows the venue. If the answer is not in our heads, it is one phone call away.
Our Barcelona team continues to operate at velares.com. The two sides share standards. They do not share guest lists.

How we choose collaborators
Every venue and operator we send guests to has been visited in person. We sit at the tables. We sleep in the rooms. We meet the people who run them. If something feels off, we move on.
When we do say yes, we work with that collaborator for the long term. We are not aggregators. We do not take commission from venues for sending guests. Our fee comes from you. That keeps our recommendations honest.
What we will not do
We will not recommend a place because it pays us. We will not share your details with venues beyond what is needed to confirm. We will not push you toward something popular if it is the wrong fit. We will not inflate the team to look bigger than we are. We will say no if we cannot do the request well.
What you should expect from us
A two-hour response, every day of the week. Real recommendations, not a copy-paste list. A reservation that feels expected when you walk in. A clean handoff if you are travelling with a group. One person at the end of WhatsApp when something changes.
You should also expect us to push back if your plan will not give you what you actually want. That is part of the job. A good concierge tells you when the popular choice is the wrong one.
What we want for you
